Gamma Launches new SME Convergence Initiative for Channel Partners

Gamma is pleased to announce the launch of Convergence; a combined service proposition targeted at organisations employing up to 150 people per site and a sector estimated to be worth in excess of £3.9B in fixed voice, mobile and data revenues alone.

The service combines a number of carefully selected Gamma products such as SIP Trunking, Mobile and Converged Access into specific ‘Convergence’ bundles (double and triple play), which can then be combined to present attractive commercial combinations to Gamma partners.

This initiative reflects the growing appetite within the end user community for a single supplier of voice, data and mobile services; the key focus being on purchasing services which are simple to use and reduce the complexity of technology decisions and maintenance. Small businesses are also particularly sensitive to understanding how the service will save them money by reducing their businesses operating costs.

“Gamma believes that this initiative will incentivise partners to engage more effectively with their existing customers, upselling to double and triple play and also, target new prospects with a compelling solution for ‘all’ their communication needs” said Steve Ashley-Brian, Convergence Product Manager at Gamma.

Partners will benefit from both incremental margin opportunities and increased Customer Lifetime Value (CLV); a measure of the value that a customer presents when they buy multiple services from the same supplier, i.e. by reducing churn which can drop by up to 25% by adding just one additional service.

In addition, partners will be given access to a newly designed section of the Gamma portal whereby they can manage and control all their ‘Convergence’ accounts from within a single set of dedicated screens; providing complete control over the product associations they make and the individual customers they apply to.

The service will become available to select Gamma partners from March 2015
