Gamma is set to launch their first pure IP telephony service this week. The service, IPDirectConnect, is the first of four to be built on the IP core network which Gamma started using back in October.
IPDirectConnect connects Gamma's network directly into the end-user’s equipment (e.g. IP PBX) enabling full PSTN connectivity through to the IP backbone. The system is one of the first pure IP services in the UK and will be available over LLU and SDSL in selected areas.
