Genesys Makes Appointment to Develop Partner Sales

Genesys Labs has appointed top contact centre specialist, Stuart Mackie, as Business Development Director. Mackie brings over ten years' experience in managing business growth and development in high profile dynamic organisations.

In his new role, he will head up the Genesys Partner Programme and deliver a consistent and proactive business plan across each of the company's channels, which will support the Genesys Dynamic Contact Centre strategy.

Mackie will use his knowledge of the end-to-end process experience to enhance the Genesys Partner Programme. He will work closely with new and existing partners to create a channel-based repeatable value proposition for the contact centre market. Enhanced information and education programmes will help to create genuine partnerships with VARs and Systems Integrators that can be used to benefit contact centre customers. The development of these collaborative efforts will enable channel players to deliver effectively the next generation of contact centre solutions.

Mark Turner, Vice President UK and Ireland, Genesys, comments: "Stuart Mackie's talent, experience and natural leadership ability will be strong assets in taking Genesys and its Partner and Channel Programmes to the next level. With his solid contact centre solutions expertise, his in-depth understanding of our company, our customer needs and our technology, Stuart will play a central role in rolling out the company's Dynamic Contact Centre strategy. I have all confidence that his input at Genesys will benefit every aspect of our organisation - from end-to-end process development through to business consultancy."

The Genesys vision and value propositions provides a flexible platform and approach for customers and partners to achieve their short term objectives, whilst secure in the knowledge that their Genesys investment will support future goals regardless of dynamic changes in their business and markets.

Before joining Genesys, Stuart Mackie was Contact Centre Applications Proposition Leader at Touchbase Communications, where he achieved Associate Partner status in just over a year. While there, he produced a cost justification and design for an 800-seat global, multi-site, multi-channel contact centre solution - justifying a £4million spend in under two years. In 2003, Stuart was Solutions Architect Director at Avaya Enterprise Business Solutions EMEA, and was responsible for managing and developing a team of Solutions Architects and supporting complex solutions across the region. Prior to this, he was Pre-Sales Technical Consultant at WANG GLOBAL, formerly Olivetti Systems & Services Ltd.
