GN to Launch ‘Noise at Work Safe and Sound’ Pack

Headset vendor GN has launched the first and only Noise at Work Safe and Sound pack. Comprising of a Jabra GN2000 or Jabra GN2100 headset, the new GN1220 cord, a hygiene pack, upgrade voucher and an Acoustic Safety Programme (ASP) online training guide, the new pack offers contact centres a simple, complete and cost effective solution for Noise at Work compliance. It will be available in October from all authorised GN distributors and resellers.

The Noise at Work Safe and Sound pack is based on GN’s new GN1220 sound limiter cord, which ensures that contact centre agents will be fully compliant with the EU Noise at Work legislation. The pack includes either the award winning Jabra GN2000 or GN2100 range of headsets, which are durable, feature-rich and offer crystal clear sound quality, at a cost effective price point. To help educate contact centre managers and employees and to provide better understanding of the legislation , the pack also contains a training guide from ASP that offers simple and practical advice on workplace acoustic safety.

“The research that we recently commissioned in conjunction with E-Media proved that contact centre managers want to be compliant with the Noise at Work legislation but are concerned about costs and confused by the ambiguity of the law and as a result, many simply don’t put a policy in place,” commented Dale Peters, UK Country Manager, GN. “Our Noise at Work Safe and Sound pack is designed to give contact managers an easy to deploy, cost effective solution that gives them instant compliance, as well as the peace of mind that their employee’s hearing is protected.”

The pack also contains a hygiene bundle that includes spare ear pads and extra microphone covers to ensure ongoing headset hygiene.
