Griffin Extends BT’s Migration Offer Until March 2008

In May 2007 BT announced to ISPs their intention to standardize on MAX products from the middle of 2008. They followed up in June with an offer, running from July - September 2007, to waive the migration charge to ISPs when broadband users migrate between ISPs and upgrade to MAX. They have now extended this offer until March 2008.

Griffin has reflected this offer to existing and new Partners offering free migrations and re-grades to MAX and MAX Premium products until March 2008.

Andrew Dickinson, Sales and Marketing Director at Griffin commented: “We work closely with BT Wholesale and have attended briefings on the withdrawal of non MAX broadband speeds. We are keen to prepare our Partners for these changes and have offered free migrations and upgrades to encourage Partners to act now instead of potentially being charged later. Feedback from the market has been very positive. We have been overwhelmed by the number of resellers wanting to be set up as white label ISPs and so far thousands of lines have been migrated to Griffin from other ISPs The offer extension has been welcomed.”
