Griffin Technology Road Show Reaches Scotland

Griffin and Microsoft collaborated again when they hosted a technology workshop at Microsoft’s offices in Waverly Gate, Edinburgh. The main themes of the day were on the enormous future potential of cloud computing, the role of MPLS networking as a facilitator of the technology and the immediate opportunity for resellers in the voice and data channel.

Whilst it is generally accepted that over time many desktop applications will move into the cloud, the point was made that until now one of the inhibitors to this evolution has been the absence of consistently reliable, fast, secure and inexpensive connectivity.

Griffin’s Sales and Marketing Director, Andrew Dickinson explained the success of Griffin’s products in filling this gap and showed how resellers can earn very good margins by using some of Griffin’s unique features to differentiate themselves. Andrew explained how to identify the easiest opportunities and talked through Griffin’s capability in supporting Partners throughout the sales cycle.

John Dawson, Managing Director, Griffin Internet said, “It was our first event of this kind in Scotland. The Griffin Scottish Partner base was well represented and it was wonderful also to see so many new faces in the audience. The feedback we received from prospects and Partners alike was encouraging with the event receiving a 96% approval rating.”
