Convergence Group, the Midlands based Virtual Network Provider, has opened its new high-tech Network Operations Centre (NOC). This facility, where Convergence Group will now manage all of their customer’s technical networks, operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is managed by dedicated Cisco network support engineers.
The NOC is designed to monitor, identify and solve any encountered network irregularity and is fully equipped with sophisticated network management, monitoring and analysis tools. Focused around a 6 metre video wall, which includes a 103 inch plasma screen as the focal point, the centre provides a comprehensive view of all network traffic and activities around the world.

The NOC provides our customers with many quality benefits and capabilities, monitoring all of their backbone links and network devices to ensure continuous operation of services.”
