“Hello, Spiderman speaking...”

Customers of Daisy spoke to superheroes like Spiderman, the Hulk and Cat Woman on Friday.

For employees at the Lancashire-based firm, were for one day only ‘Customer Service Superheroes’ as they celebrated National Customer Service Week.

National Customer Service Week is designed to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays within an organisation. It is also an opportunity to say a big thank you to those who work in customer service for a job well done.

Daisy’s Operations Director, Stefni Oliver, said: “Customer Service is key to the success of Daisy and is often the reason why customers choose us as their preferred communications supplier.

“Good customer service is about more than just a cheery voice and an offer of help, it is about taking that extra step to make sure that customers feel valued and looked after.

“And this is not simply a role carried out by our customer services team, it is something we must all adhere to in our daily communications with customers, partners and suppliers.”

To set the mood for the day, the Daisy office was decorated with Gotham City skylines and life-size freezes of superhero figures. And staff played their part by turning up to work in tights, capes and masks, replicating the look of their own favourite superhero.

Cash prizes were given to the two best dressed individuals, as well as to two true ‘customer service superheroes’ who had gone above and beyond the call of duty during the week.

Stefni added: “We thought it fitting to culminate the week’s celebrations by saying a big ‘thank you’ to all the staff who work tirelessly to ensure customer satisfaction at all times.”
