In his new post, Poskett will be responsible for all of Huawei’s channel-related activities in the UK & Ireland. He will work with the enterprise product marketing and sales teams, to execute and develop Huawei’s UK channel business plan focusing on acquiring new partners, to ensure future growth in the UK&I market.
One of his key priorities will be to set up a two tier distribution model to optimise Huawei’s resources, whilst developing a customised channel programme for customers.
Huawei says Poskett brings with him a wealth of experience, having spent 25 years with Hewlett-Packard, where he held positions including channel director for UK & Ireland and EMEA distribution sales manager. David has a proven track record for driving change and delivering strong and sustainable results, and will help drive Huawei’s target of $15 billion in annual revenue globally for its global enterprise business by 2015.
