Ignition Signs Up SailPoint

Ignition Technology has signed a distribution agreement with SailPoint Technologies, provider of enterprise identity governance, becoming its first value-add distribution partner in the UK. The agreement gives UK channel partners access to SailPoint’s open identity platform and leading identity-aware solutions including IdentityNow (cloud-based identity governance); IdentityIQ (on-premise identity governance) and SecurityIQ (which helps enterprises govern access to files).

The new partnership represents an opportunity for the UK channel and will enable Ignition’s partners to address one of the fastest-growing sectors for cybersecurity solutions and services. According to research from MarketsandMarkets, revenue is set to grow from USD 8.09 Billion in 2016 to USD 14.82 Billion by 2021 (CAGR 12.9%) and analyst firm IDC, forecast it to be one of the strongest growth areas in cybersecurity, second only to the endpoint security market.
