Inclarity to Use Nortel IP Phones

UK communications firm Inclarity has further expanded its IP telephony offering in a bid to enable SMEs to make significant savings on their information and communications technology overheads.

Inclarity has added two new handsets, the LG Nortel 6312 and 6830, to further strengthen its portfolio in the mid-range market for IP handsets. The company has also added further service features including:

One-touch dialling for voicemail and help desk services

Line supervision for extensions to give improved internal communications

‘Follow Me’ speed dial activation and directory services accessed via handset

Advanced Call filtering and management of inbound calls

Inclarity say that by adding one-touch dialling and line supervision to their Broadband Telephony IP offering it has strengthened its level of functionality and gives it a leading edge in addressing the requirements of organisations that have traditionally used PBX. User control and flexibility is also strengthened by the ‘Follow me’ speed dial activation and directory services accessible right on the handset or the online Phone Manager tool.

“SMEs are increasingly turning to IP telephony as they continue to recognise its positive impact on reducing their overheads and increasing staff flexibility and productivity,” said Paul Anthony Beaumont, Inclarity’s chief operations officer. “Inclarity is leading the charge in making IP telephony as simple to integrate and manage as possible and these service upgrades are a further extension of that ethos.”

Recent Inclarity-sponsored research found that UK SMEs could save over £1bn per annum by switching from traditional telephony systems to IP communications.
