Hamilton based technology firm, The Infinity Group, is recruiting extra sales staff after being awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification for its information technology and communications services.
The company has been accredited by CQS Ltd after an initial assessment and recommendations, followed by a further assessment and presentation. This internationally recognised, prestigious award is an international standard in use worldwide as the benchmark for quality. With only 3% of UK businesses holding this certificate, Infinity Group is at the forefront of quality of service and customer care.
“The Infinity Group is an expanding company within the fast-moving technology industry and has been built on a foundation of solid procedures and systems, which is why we were able to achieve ISO within our first 3 years.” said Simon Thakor, CEO. “It is therefore very reassuring for our clients to know that we have rigorous quality control procedures in place that meet the globally recognised and respected ISO standards at all stages – from initial enquiries and consultation, research, planning and installation to after-sales and support.”
The ISO9000 family of standards represents an international consensus on good management practices to help ensure that a business continually delivers products and services to meet the customer expectations for quality. The ISO 9001:2000 certification requires a participating company to have systematic approaches to identifying and managing numerous inter-dependent business processes within the organisation.
Mr Thakor added, “This accreditation will pave the way for us to tender for public sector contracts and further expand our sales force. It is great news for everyone concerned and I am delighted that my team managed to meet the ISO requirements in such a short space of time. We are also working toward ISO14001 which will reduce our carbon footprint and ‘Investors In People’ to increase the performance of our staff and help us keep our customer service at the highest level possible.”
