Informa announces program for its 11th annual Industry Outlook event

Informa Telecoms & Media today announced that it will host its 11th annual Industry Outlook event on October 23 at the Cavendish Conference Centre in central London. This one-day strategic conference entitled “The Innovation Challenge – Telecoms and Media Innovation Strategies: Customers, Networks, Services”, will explore how service providers can drive innovation and deliver profitable growth.

This event boasts an impressive line-up of leading industry experts from around the globe including Informa’s analyst team, who will be discussing the key issues and challenges facing telecoms operators today. In total, over 25 speakers from across the telecoms and new media ecosystem will share their knowledge, experiences and prospects with an expected multinational and senior-level audience.

“Innovation is becoming an obsession for telecoms operators – innovation in services, innovation in network capabilities, innovation in business models and innovation in customer experience management to create long-term fans rather than just customers. Now they are beginning to realize that the answer lies in taking lessons from other industries,” explains Mark Newman, Chief Research Officer at Informa Telecoms & Media. “Therefore, our Analyst Team has handpicked presenters from across a range of vertical industries that demonstrate a best-in-class approach to customer, service and network innovation.”

In addition, telecoms operators will consider how the telecoms world can learn from these companies while Informa Telecoms & Media analysts will give their view on the status of innovation and what the industry needs to do to embrace innovation generally.

Due to the overwhelming popularity of the Analyst Clinic at last year’s event, Informa will once again be hosting Analyst meetings which will run concurrently with the main event program. This gives delegates the unique opportunity to connect with the Informa Analyst Team on a one-on-one basis and discuss the questions directly affecting their businesses.
