Interactive Intelligence Expands in UK and EMEA

As announced in its recent record fourth quarter and annual earnings results, global developer of business communications software, Interactive Intelligence is expanding its EMEA sales and support teams as it looks to increase its share of the fast-growing contact centre and enterprise IP telephony markets.

Last year, the company’s international customer orders represented more than 30 percent of total orders received. To keep pace with this growth, Interactive Intelligence moved its EMEA headquarters into larger premises in Slough, Berkshire, and significantly expanded its marketing, operations and professional services teams to effectively support its customer base, now numbering more than 2,500 worldwide.

Interactive Intelligence also employed two new senior sales managers to spearhead the company’s channel development programme across the UK and Ireland. Neil Titcomb joined from Frontrange Solutions where he was new business development manager for IP communications, and Myles Rose joined from the position of senior account manager at RightNow Technologies.

“Central to our strategy is to recruit high-calibre channel partners in order to drive our aggressive expansion programme,” said vice president of sales, EMEA, Richard Brown. “Neil and Myles’ extensive business development experience will be invaluable in identifying and developing the type of channel partnerships essential to achieving our ambitious targets in 2007.”
