Intrinsic Technology Officially One of the UK’s Fastest Growing Companies

Systems integrator, Intrinsic Technology is Britain’s 58th fastest growing technology company according to the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 league table published on 28th September.

Now in its eighth year the prestigious league table ranks Britain’s one hundred fastest growing private technology companies by their sales growth over a three year period.

Making its first appearance on the league table this year, Intrinsic demonstrated year on year growth of 55.23% taking turnover to £12.93million in 2007. This impressive growth is set to continue with revenue expected to hit the £21million mark in 2008 – an increase of 62.4%.

Founded in 1999 by managing director, Allan Gauld, Intrinsic designs and installs telecoms and IT infrastructures for clients including Barclays, Honda and Manchester City Council. Additionally, Intrinsic also provides maintenance and consultancy services to its 500 strong client base.

Ranking an impressive fifth in the North West region, Allan Gauld is confident Intrinsic’s impressive growth is set to continue: “I am delighted with our placement in the Tech Track 100. This is testament to the unrelenting hard work and dedication of all Intrinsic employees.

“Despite fluctuating economic conditions I am certain we will carry on growing at a substantial rate and, yes, if I am honest I expect we’ll make it into next year’s Tech Track. There are always growth opportunities for companies such as Intrinsic which offer innovative solutions, from leading manufacturers such as Cisco and Nortel, that deliver real business benefits to customers at competitive prices. With a committed workforce, prudent financial planning and dynamic sales and marketing, Intrinsic’s future is very bright.”

Bernadette Wightman, head of SMB at Cisco UK & Ireland comments on Intrinsic’s ranking: “Intrinsic’s placement in the Tech Track 100 comes as no surprise to Cisco. Intrinsic continues to generate significant revenues for Cisco in the UK and consistently offers genuine innovative solutions to its expanding customer base. Furthermore, the company has an approachable, friendly culture which makes them a pleasure to work with. I look forward to seeing Intrinsic in next year’s Tech Track 100.”
