ipcortex deliver increased flexibility with Yealink handsets

ipcortex, the UK based manufacturer of the VoIPCortex hardware IP PBX have made full auto provisioning support for the Yealink handset range available on their 3.1 version release.

This latest revision of the VoIPCortex platform also includes the Open Communications Manager - which allows VoIPCortex users to extend control of call management functionality to any desktop – with no software install required.

After successfully completed interoperability testing, ipcortex added the Yealink T20P, T22P, T26P, and T28P handsets to the list of over 40 other handsets from major Open SIP phone vendors auto-configured by their VoIPCortex PABX.

ipcortex Director Rob Pickering commented, "For resellers the VoIPCortex IP PBX is about choice and flexibility - and while our IP PBX hardware is interoperable with any Open SIP handset, it also boasts auto provisioning functionality for a wide range of handsets and accessories from major vendors. Yealink's comprehensive range of handsets have joined Polycom, Snom, Aastra and Linksys devices to provide ipcortex resellers with even more choice and flexibility – enabling them to find the most appropriate solution for every customer."

"We showcased the full functionality of the VoIPCortex IP PBX at Convergence Summit South in October," continued Pickering. "Both the Yealink functionality and demonstrations of our Open Communications Manager were well received, and since then our reseller community have become very enthusiastic about the benefits of running Yealink handsets with the VoIPCortex PBX."
