Now recommended for use by up to 30 users, the VoIPCortex Compact is a flexible and powerful business phone system that provides corporate level functionality at a small business price point. As a solid state device with no moving parts, it benefits from silent operation and increased reliability and can be installed in the office either as a wall mounted or free standing unit.
As with all other units in the VoIPCortex range, the Compact PBX is based on open standards and is free from artificial limitations to allow true flexibility and freedom for resellers.
Building upon the benefits already offered by its predecessor, the new VoIPCortex Compact boasts the following improvements:
- Upgraded, performance boosting hardware to enable users of the Compact to fully support current and future enhancements to the VoIPCortex configuration platform and the Open Communications Manager - accessible via any internet browser. The recommended number of users on a Compact system has now increased from 20 to 30.
- A slim line and lightweight form factor for even more convenient implementation - suitable for free standing or wall mounted deployment.
- Dual ISDN2 interface now available – the cost effective option for implementations where only four channels of ISDN are required. As a hybrid system, additional capacity for making and receiving calls can be made available via SIP or IAX VoIP services.
- Super low, “green” power consumption – typically only 15W.
