ITS Technology Group Welcomes New Talent

ITS Technology Group (ITS) has appointed a new Chief Financial Officer.

Carl Kameen (43) has been welcomed in to the senior management team to work with an expanded team to keep up with an increased market demand and uptake in projects company wide.

Carl’s appointment will reinforce the senior management team following recent investment by Maven Capital Partners and the appointment of Daren Baythorpe as Managing Director.

Carl Kameen commented on his appointment: “I’m really excited about working for ITS and the wider talented team. I admire the way they have worked hard to establish themselves as a major altnet provider. ITS is a fantastic business and I feel the time is right, given the opportunity in the marketplace, for us to continue to grow and become even more successful in the future.”

ITS with head offices in Saighton, Chester, has also appointed two senior sales leaders to further drive the company forward:

Darren Thompson has joined ITS from Gigaclear and is tasked with driving sales activities in ITS’ South West networks and across the exclusive Bristol City Council concession network. He will also be responsible for ITS’ full fibre and wireless networks across Gloucestershire and Buckinghamshire. Darren will focus on business customers who require highspeed, robust and cost effective solutions.

Brett Marshall will assume responsibility for direct and partner sales across the company’s growing network footprint in Nottingham, via the City Council’s exclusive concession agreement. In addition, Brett will be growing network assets and customers based around Derby and Leicester. He joins ITS from City Fibre Holdings and brings with him over 20 years’ experience.

Roy Shelton, CEO of ITS Technology Group concludes: “We are delighted to welcome Carl as Chief Financial Officer. As we enter the next phase of growth, Carl will be a great addition to the team in order to drive and add further value to our business.

“Darren and Brett’s arrivals along with the strengthening of our back office and support team, is well-timed and planned as we continue to meet and address the growing demand for our services across the UK.”
