The agreement constitutes Kaspersky Lab’s fifth UK distribution partnership and follows the company’s drive to add channel partners to its reseller network, and increase its reseller base from 70 to 200 by the end of the year.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ingram Micro UK will be able to offer its resellers and retailers, Kaspersky Lab’s entire range of products which offer protection to both home and business users against the increasing threats from malicious code.
Simon Geach, UK and Ireland Channel and Retail Sales Manager, Kaspersky Lab, sees the partnership as an excellent opportunity for Kaspersky Lab to enter the retail market. “With its strong reputation and position in the retail sector, Ingram Micro UK is the ideal distributor to help us increase our share of this key market.”
