Knight CF Brings The City to Convergence North

The sector’s leading deal advisers, Knight Corporate Finance, who most recently advised O-Bit Telecom on its sale to Daisy Group, is delighted to announce its sponsorship of the Convergence North 2011 Seminar Programme. In addition to industry speakers, Knight CF will be hosting an exciting panel session featuring leading UK institutions looking to invest in our sector.

Knight CF helps companies maximise the value of their business and funding is a key element. For the panel session, we have invited professionals from three different areas of funding to help discuss how they add value as they invest in a business.

The panel session will afford owners looking to build their businesses valuable advice from leading institutions, understand the types of funding is available, and which is the most appropriate for them to reach their goals.

The panel will feature representatives from private equity, banking and corporate broking including:

Finncap, one of the leading independent brokers in the telecom and technology space, can provide insight into life as a publicly quoted company and the benefits of an AIM listing.

Lyceum Capital, who invest in UK companies with view to building a market leader, will explain what it takes to attract funding from private equity and the value of having a professional investor alongside you.

Clydesdale Bank provides specialist acquisition finance to UK businesses supporting some of the leading businesses in our sector. Find out how to raise funds by leveraging your balance sheet without giving up equity in your business.

Adam Zoldan, Director at Knight CF said “The focus is on where investors see the opportunities in our industry from an investment perspective. The seminar will be a great chance for attendees to fire questions at the panel and make their own judgement on whether institutional investment can create true value in business or whether they are just a bunch of overpaid bankers!”

In true City tradition, all attendees to this panel session will be offered a glass of Champagne and Knight CF will continue to toast the success of the sector with their sponsorship of the Gala Evening that night.
