The company says FRM220-CH08 is a 1U high 19" Rackmount, 8 slot modular converter chassis. It provides a compact, economic solution for access to fibre networks. Designed with high availability in mind. All backplane components are passive. While remaining functions, power, management and interface cards are all modular and hot swappable. The FRM220-CH08 has support for dual AC or DC power supplies and the chassis has external alarm replay contacts as standard.
SNMP and Web based management can be provisioned by installing the Network Management Card. Any of the FRM220's range of fibre converter cards can be installed in the chassis. These cards range from 10G Ethernet, SDH/PDH interfaces, C/DWDM Mux and transponders down to POTS and ISDN fibre line drivers.
