The deal, which was formalised after a successful three month trial period, will see the football club completely outsource its IT management to Lanway. This includes 24/7 monitoring of Burnley’s systems, as well as hardware provision and cover. The contract is expected to save the club 25% on its annual IT costs.
Lanway will also offer extra out of hours support on match days when the IT infrastructure comes under more strain, due to extra demand on the ticketing and wireless networks.
This is the latest deal in a long-term partnership between Burnley FC and Lanway, which dates back to 2001.
