LG Electronics has announced the appointment of Christine Howard as sales director for networks, for its mobile business in UK and Ireland. In this new role, Howard will be responsible for setting in place sales strategies and driving business growth for the division through closer customer engagement and collaboration.
With 25 years experience within the telecommunications industry and a proven track record in managing global customers, Howard brings with her a wealth of knowledge across all areas of the market from operators through to handset manufacturers including Sony Ericsson, Ericsson and Telstra Corporation.
Prior to LG, she held the role of global sales director at Sony Ericsson’s global customer unit, where she was responsible globally for developing and managing the commercial relationships, sales strategies and business opportunities primarily for Vodafone.
