New Media Software (NMS), the CTI applications vendor, is taking further steps to reduce their carbon footprint and at the same time adding a new visual element to their reseller and customer demonstrations.
Already this year the company has made extensive use of WebEx based meetings to conduct sales and technical training for their channel partners but has now added Polycom based video conferencing as an alternative product demonstration capability.
“We knew that many of our resellers also use and supply Polycom video solutions so it seemed a natural step to go further ourselves and offer ‘On Demand Demonstrations’ for our channel partners as well,” said NMS Managing Director Phill McGowan.
McGowan estimates that in the last twelve months prior to adding the Polycom video facility his company had used Web Demos instead of driving over 200,000 miles and not taken over 50 international flights.
