Orange distributor, Mainline Digital Communications, has launched a series of promotions during January to help its dealers kick start their New Year sales.

The first promotion runs until the end of the month and offers Mainline dealers a £10 discount off five top selling handsets, in addition to the £50 bonus received for each new business connection. Qualifying handsets include the Nokia E51, Samsung M110 Solid, HTC Touch HD, Sony Ericsson C902 and the BlackBerry 8320 Curve.

Secondly, dealers placing an order for five or more USB modems will get an extra £10 bonus per device until the end of the month.

Finally, there is a promotion for the new BlackBerry 8900 Curve with full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a new operating system and WiFi and GPS functionality enabling fast internet browsing. For each BlackBerry 8900 Curve ordered before the end of January, dealers will receive a free protective skin for the handset.

Gail Hollinshead, Mainline’s director of dealer sales, stated: “Dealers can benefit from greater margins. We want to help dealers start the year as they mean to go on and Mainline’s January promotions can help to boost their profits straight away.”

Due to demand, the Orange distributor has also extended its range of accessories to include a choice of Parrot Bluetooth in-car kits, allowing dealers to source all they need from one supplier.

All the promotions are available to existing Mainline dealers and anyone wishing to do business with the company. Other benefits include value added services, ongoing commission payments, seasonal promotions, incentives and a dedicated tailored marketing programme.
