Mainline dealers ‘Love Tuscany’

The five winners of Mainline Digital Communications’ ‘Love Tuscany’ incentive recently returned from an all expenses paid trip to the beautiful Italian region of Tuscany.

As first prize winners of the three month long points-based Mainline incentive, co-sponsored by BlackBerry and Orange, the five dealers and their guests were treated to the Tuscan trip.

The winners were Dave Carter from Geko Direct, Jim Rock from Direct Telecoms, Gregory Barnett from Abica, Simon Holt from Spectrum Telecoms and Steve Matthews from Aspect Mobiles. All successfully topped their leagues and achieved a high volume of new business and consumer connections for the Orange distributor.

The visit included a trip to the historic Leaning Tower of Pisa, sightseeing in the picturesque Castel Monastero, an authentic cookery lesson in one of Chianti’s rustic villages San Gusmè, sampling some of the region’s finest wines in Siena and dinner at celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey’s gourmet ‘La Contrada’ restaurant.

“An amazing time was had by all courtesy of Mainline, Orange and BlackBerry,” commented Steve Matthews from Aspect Mobiles. “The long weekend started with an al fresco lunch in Pisa closely followed by a 294 step workout to the top of the famous Leaning Tower. It was a well-organised trip with lots to see and do. My favourite was a tour of the idyllic town Siena, which is featured in the James Bond film, Quantum of Solace.

“I would like to say a big thank you to all at Mainline but most importantly to our staff for supporting us through the first quarter of the year and putting us at the top of the tree for Tuscany,” concluded Matthews.

Andrew Boden, managing director at Mainline, added: “The trip was a well deserved reward for our best performing dealers and for all the hard work they have put in over the past three months, which has seen them exceed targets and increase sales and revenues.

“We are already looking at new holiday locations for our next incentive and are offering our dealers the chance to give their input on their dream destinations by emailing our marketing team,” added Boden.
