Mark Mitchinson has left Samsung Mobile UK, after 10 years of service for the Korean manufacturer. It has been suggested in the mobile press that Mitchinson was pushed to leave by the Korean side of the business.
Mitchinson has been highly influential in pushing Samsung Mobile as a brand in the UK, making it a trusted household name in handsets for Brits.
A spokesperson for Samsung commented: “After ten years with the business Samsung can confirm that Mark Mitchinson has decided to leave the UK Mobile organisation. We wish him every success in the future.”
Samsung will announce the appointment of Mitchinson’s replacement in the near future.
