Months of negotiations were concluded and an agreement signed at the recent GiTex exhibition held in Dubai. Commenting on the announcement Mayflex Business Development Director Kenny Presly stated ‘We are delighted to have secured the distribution rights for this exciting, innovative and yet extremely competitive range of Ethernet LAN products’. Presly continued ‘We are also pleased to have the opportunity to expand our activities into new areas thanks to the diversity of the LevelOne range. Products such as the groundbreaking wireless projector server and the broad range of network attached storage units are welcome additions to our range and go hand in hand with our Plus range of projectors and Mobotix IP camera range respectively.’

Mayflex will stock, sell, support and promote the LevelOne brand from October 31st, however resellers are being encouraged to register their interest now to be amongst the first to receive price lists, new product specifications and details of introductory offers.
Due to the obvious similarities in certain parts of the respective product ranges, Mayflex has also announced it will gradually phase out the availability of current Planet products. ‘It hasn’t been an easy decision to take, but after many successful years we have decided to focus our efforts in the SME Ethernet hardware market around the LevelOne brand. Over the coming weeks we will be discussing this in detail with our existing Planet resellers to ensure the change over is as smooth as possible, all existing warranty agreements and live projects will continue as normal’ continued Presly.
