Meeting Point Scoops Three Awards

Meeting Point has triumphed at the 2016 Kingston Business Excellence Awards, in association with NatWest, scooping three awards including the top title of “Business of the Year 2016.”

The Kingston Business Excellence Awards is a key event in the local business calendar and is attended by leading companies in the area from all sectors of business.

Company founder, Ian Brigden won the title of “Entrepreneur of the Year”, with his Sales Director, Steve Burton winning “Best Staff Training and Development”, at a glittery black tie gala dinner and awards ceremony.

Speaking after the ceremony, Ian said: “We work incredibly hard to deliver quality sales leads and trained sales staff to our customers who work in extremely competitive and complex markets. These wins are particularly sweet as it’s recognition for our staff and the part we play in their success.”

Mark Hodgkinson, business relationship manager of awards sponsor Natwest, said: “All businesses need quality help and support, and Natwest is proud to be the headline sponsor of these awards once again. Kingston Council leader Kevin Davis thanked the borough’s business for their work, adding: “You are the most important part of what makes Kingston great."
