At this year’s NHS Confederation conference, health secretary Andrew Lansley told how technology will play a major role in shaping the future of healthcare, specifically through supporting service change. With this in mind and with the healthcare sector as budget-conscious as ever, the key to health providers’ financial-management lies in investing in technologies that bring a more streamlined and cost-effective service to their patients.
