Mitel Launch Managed Services Style User Contracts

Mitel has announced the UK launch of the new Total Solutions program in partnership with the Capital Solutions Group (CSG). The compelling proposition enables Mitel authorizedPARTNERS to offer a complete communications managed service to customers.

“The Total Solutions program eases the buying process for the customer by taking the pain out of capital expenditure, which is necessary in today’s economic climate. It gives Mitel channels the opportunity to retain customers and increase the value of every order by consolidating the client’s total communications solution into a single contract. We also recognise that the current economy is especially hard for small businesses, so the program includes a fantastic introductory offer of up to three years interest free finance for businesses with up to 64 users, buying either a Mitel 5000 or Mitel 3300 Communications solution,” stated Enda Kenneally, UK Sales Director, Mitel.

The program will provide Mitel channels with the ability to win more business in both the SME and larger enterprise market segments, despite the credit crunch. Customers will be able to avoid up front capital expenditure and benefit from a single managed service bill covering service level agreements, information split by site and product type and all costs for lines, minutes, professional services and maintenance.

Shipton Communications recently upgraded the telephony systems at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital Trust using the Mitel Total Solutions program.

"Mitel Total Solutions gave us the opportunity to delivery an excellent service in a cost neutral finance package that both meets the customers demands and enables us to add value, as well as wrapping in other products throughout the term of the agreement. Mitel have stolen a march with this idea and it enables re-sellers like us to really add benefit to a customer solution. At Norfolk and Norwich Hospital Trust we will not only be managing the delivery of a large Mitel IP roll out but also delivering other Mitel solutions such as wireless services and other applications that enable the Trust to deliver benefits to patients. We will also be managing lines and integrating with the onsite IS delivery team to help them through the complex migration phase. The Trust knows how much to budget for additional requirements based on a price-per-point-per-month model and can realise a more tax efficient way of delivering telephony assets. It is easy for the Trust to understand and implement and good news for the reseller,” commented Andy Turner, managing director, Shipton Communications.
