Mobile-Based Hosted PBX Set to Revolutionise the Small Office PBX Market

Networks & Network Services
TeleWare, the provider of intelligent communication solutions to businesses and service providers, today announced immediate availability of an exciting new development combining hosted IP services and Private Mobile network-based convergence. This development delivers the most efficient way of working while away from your desk available on the market today.

The Private Mobile Extension (PME) solution combines the convenience of using a mobile phone with the cost advantages and features of a business’ fixed line telephone system. When you are out of your office, your mobile operates normally. When you return to your office, your mobile seamlessly connects to your PME system and becomes an extension handset, as well as taking mobile calls as usual.

PME delivers on the promise of fixed mobile convergence. No PBX is required. PME is fully scalable and gives each user one handset, one number, one network.

Immediate operational cost savings are delivered from the call charges saved by making mobile calls routed across the IP or PSTN network. Longer term savings are provided by the convenience and practical advantages of a business telephony solution based on a single handset with no investment needed in fixed and less scalable PBX hardware.

The PME is delivered as a hosted service over an IP network (e.g. DSL or MPLS) using the Private Mobile Access Point provided to create a local and private mobile network. This means that you can use mobile phones for calls within the office, warehouse or campus. Further access points can be added as necessary to ensure guaranteed mobile coverage with all the features usually associated with fixed line phones available on your mobiles.

TeleWare currently has test site deployments which have been operations for six months and the product is available for immediate delivery through the TeleWare partner channel, including Samsung Hosted Communications and TT Office Ltd.
