MWC: TP-LINK Launches Archer MR2000

TP-LINK, a company that has provided innovative WLAN solutions for almost 20 years, has released the first in a family of 4G LTE Routers, designed to provide a multitude of both home and office wireless network utilizations.

To begin with, the Archer MR200 offers fast and stable wireless coverage through Dual band 802.11ac, supporting speeds of up to 300Mbps over 2.4GHz and 433Mbps over 5GHz. But that's not all, as the Archer MR200 router also supports the latest in 4G FDD and TDD LTE connections for high-speed Mobile Broadband WAN access.

The flexibility and adaptability presented by 4G LTE is a well known and utilized technology around the world through the medium of mobile Wi-Fi devices called 'Hotspots', such as the impressive M7350 from TP-LINK. The Archer MR200 Desktop Router makes full use of this technology offering Mobile Broadband connection support anytime and anywhere, and together with the onboard 4 port LAN switch and a WAN port for ADSL/Cable connections, mixes speed and stability with mobile flexibility.

The Archer MR200's support for both 4G LTE Mobile Broadband as well as traditional DSL/Cable Broadband, grants the ability to use either for Internet connection, which is particularly useful if you happen to live in areas that support 4G Mobile Broadband connectivity but have no direct wired connections for DSL/Cable. The router therefore provides a level of real-world backup connection functionality that is in a sense, 'always connected'.
