NEC Philips Trail Unified Comms Solution

NEC Philips is training a new set of unified communications applications set for a European release in Q1 2007.

Univerge Assured Mobility, is a new mobility solution the vendor says is designed to accelerate and advance the mobile worker’s experience providing for seamless, secure communications, from any location and managed on any device.

The applications say NEC Philips will offer customers comprehensive mobility by combining voice, data and real-time multimedia with mission-critical business applications in a user-friendly, fully integrated and managed wireless solution that is robust, secure and highly scalable.

Assured Mobility includes integrated applications such as unified messaging, location services support, presence information, intelligent call redirection and directory information on a wide variety of mobile devices, empowering individual users and making organisations more agile and productive.

Within the Univerge Assured Mobility concept the following new products are being introduced for the 2000 IPS and SV7000 IP communication servers.
