The format of the day began with a morning overview and update of Mitel solutions and applications followed by an afternoon of thrill seeking and very competitive driving! Resellers and partners were divided into four separate teams for of a variety of race activities including the Peugeot 206 Rally Challenge, the 4x4 off-road experience, the team-pit stop challenge and a drive of the brand new and exhilarating Audi RS4, voted by Top Gear TV as the 'Biggest Surprise of the Year'.
Awards and prizes were handed out to the winning teams and individuals that evening at Nessco’s Reseller Award Ceremony. One of the most controversial prizes for ‘Best Team Performance’ was presented to team Ferrari who all happened to be a mixture of Nessco and Mitel employees! Although the ceremony was quite light-hearted, the main purpose was to award resellers for their hard work, loyalty and overall sales excellence in the last 12 months. Guest speaker at the event was snooker legend Dennis Taylor, who helped distribute the prizes to all the winners.
Commenting on the success of the event, Caroline Merson, Marketing Manager said, “What better way to reward our resellers than to take them to one of the world’s most famous motor sport venues and the home of the British Grand Prix. The day was a complete success from start to finish and based on all the positive feedback we received we’re really going to struggle to top that next year”.
