New app takes the office network mobile

Gradwell has launched a mobile phone app that allows people to connect their mobiles with the office telephone network.

Gradwell One, a unified voice and messaging service, combines a user’s landline and mobile number and makes their mobile phone part of the office telecoms system.

The service provides a consistent single view of the status of colleagues across mobile, desktop phone and computer based softphone, so the user receives calls on the device they are currently using; if you make a call on your mobile, then colleagues using a desk based handset will know you are engaged.

The mobiles can also be reached by calling the standard office landline number – without the costs of delays of call forwarding.

The new application, available in the relevant App Store to Gradwell One customers, means that users make all their calls through the Internet (VoIP) and therefore benefit from a more reliable line and cost savings on calls.

MD Dr Peter Gradwell said, “This application really fills a gap in the communications market. The connection between the office network and individuals’ mobiles will help facilitate flexible working and reduce the costs of many calls. Launching Gradwell One puts us in competition with the telephony giant Vodafone, who have a similar offer but don’t have the customer service of which we’re so proud.”

Gradwell One starts from just £8.00 (exc VAT) per month and offers a wide range of business add-ons and minute bundles.
