Distributor Nimans has introduced a new Business Manager to spearhead its Siemens sales division. Mike Tongue is extending a 12-year ICT career by joining the Manchester-based company which is the current Siemens Distributor of the Year.
Tongue benefits from extensive new business and account management experience within the ICT market place where he built-up an in-depth knowledge of the Siemens PBX brand.
He explained: “You could say I have Siemens in my blood. I’ve been selling Siemens PBX’s since 1996 and worked for Siemens Communications during the initial launch of IP. I was one of the first direct sales people within Siemens to sell a full IP HiPath solution and I am very much looking forward to developing the brand with such a respected name as Nimans. All the building blocks are in place to take a very strong proposition to the market.”
Tongue joined Nimans from Your Communications (THUS) where since June 2003 he worked as a Corporate Account Manager. He was previously employed for five years in a new business sales role for Siemens Communications which followed his first PBX sales position at Alcatel Telecom.
