This key position will be responsible for the development of the Group and for the delivery of new and enhanced products and services to Universal’s customers. Hayes will manage all support systems ensuring customers continue to receive the highest level of service and will bolster Universal's position as their long term business partner.
Commenting on the appointment, Terry Hunt, Universal Group MD said: “Mark has been instrumental in developing and building up the Network Service offerings which are a vital component of our overall product portfolio and it is of strategic importance that this element of our business continues to expand. I am delighted that we have someone of Mark’s calibre and knowledge and I know he will take a strong lead in moving the Network company forward."
Mark’s immediate task will be to further strengthen and to continually update Universal’s current product portfolio to ensure it accurately meets customer’s needs. This will be enhanced by development of key Carrier Product offerings with new services and resources to make Universal a true one stop supplier.
