Newbold will lead the Extreme Networks’ direct sales teams, account management teams and support regional channel partners in the UK and Ireland. He will ensure that Extreme Networks continues to provide intelligent network solutions that offer scalability, agility and simplicity for both enterprise, SME and service provider customers.

Prior to joining Extreme Networks, Newbold was Country Manager at 3Com for three years, after running a variety of management roles within the company during his six-and-a-half year tenure. During his time with 3Com, he was responsible for building the company’s successful Direct Touch Sales Force, resulting in a marked increase in revenues.
