The all new Jabra GO 6400 and PRO 9400 Series headsets are now available from GN Netcom partners in the UK. The wireless headsets are the first to offer user-friendly touch screen controls and to incorporate Bluetooth, DECT and USB phone technology. Both the Jabra GO 6400 and PRO 9400 are compatible with leading Unified Communications (UC) client.

The launch of the Jabra GO 6400 and the Jabra PRO 9400 Series, sees GN Netcom raising the standard for the usability of headsets as users can easily set up the device, manage multiple phones using the intuitive touch screen, start or end calls, adjust the volume, or switch between desk, soft and mobile phones leading to less missed calls and more productivity.

Incorporating wideband sound and Noise Blackout technology with two-microphones, the headsets offer a richer and more natural audio experience, delivering sound quality far superior to traditional narrowband technology which helps maximise the benefits of all VoIP and UC deployments. Users’ hearing is continually protected with SafeTone technology, which cuts off sudden loud noises as well as keeps the sound exposure safe throughout the day which ensures the headset is fully EU Noise-at-Work compliant.

Both the Jabra PRO 9400 and Jabra GO 6400 Series are compatible with leading Unified Communications (UC) solutions such as Microsoft Office Communicator and require minimal set-up allowing for seamless communication regardless of the device in use. For those who have not transitioned to UC, the headsets are the perfect future-proof solution as they can be used with both traditional and VoIP telephony systems.

The Jabra GO 6400 has been developed specifically with mobile-centric employees in mind: for example, professionals that spend a lot of time out of the office will require Bluetooth connectivity with their mobile phone to ensure they are constantly in touch. The PRO series is ideal for people who are predominantly based in the office, but use a number of different phones including desk and soft phones and also need to answer calls via their mobile.

The Jabra PRO 9400 series makes use of DECT while the PRO 9470 model also incorporates Bluetooth for mobile phone connectivity, creating the ultimate wireless headset for the office-centric employee.

“Workforces are becoming increasingly dispersed and there is a greater need for collaboration. Unified Communications is one of the best and most effective ways to do this and headsets play a key role in ensuring employees are able to communicate with ease regardless of their location. With the new Jabra PRO 9400 and Jabra GO 6400 Series office-centric and mobile-centric workers can manage calls from their soft, desk and mobile phones on the user-friendly touch screen and enjoy uninterrupted productivity” said Karsten Hald Pedersen, Managing Director, GN Netcom UK & Ireland.
