New MVNO launched

Networks & Network Services
New entrant to the UK MVNO market, Vizz Mobile, launched last niweek at an exclusive event at London’s Natural History Museum. The business claims it will carve a market for itself out of the bustling MVNO space by bringing much needed transparency to the market.

Vizz is concentrating on tailormade solutions, no hidden charges, no fine print and clear upfront prices. All of this is backed by major international mobile operators from around the world.

Vizz Mobile will target different ethnic communities through partnerships with mobile operators from each country, bringing further credibility and instant brand recognition to their offering. Vizz Mobile’s first partnership is with the major Sri Lankan mobile operator, Dialog.

Dialog CMO, Nushad Perera, commented: “We’re delighted to be working with Vizz Mobile, enabling Sri Lankan’s living in the UK to continue to engage with our brand and take advantage of tremendous cost savings available when phoning family and friends back in Sri Lanka who are Dialog customers. It’s a great tie in for us, and we commend Vizz Mobile on their efforts to infuse greater transparency into the sector.”

Vizz Mobile will launch co-branded products with the license name and logo of major mobile operators from the subscribers’ homeland, creating immediate brand recognition, and providing both reassurance and confidence to the user since it is a name they know and trust.

Furthermore, partnering with a foreign mobile operator allows Vizz Mobile to link its UK customers with the partner’s homeland customers, providing value added services that are only possible through having a foreign partner; such as airtime credit transfers.

Numerous other value added services will be introduced, such as money transfers, Sri Lankan ringtone & music downloads and Sri Lankan news and sports alerts direct to your Dialog Vizz Mobile phone.

Vizz Mobile, backed by highly successful telecoms operator QiComm, who has made these international tie ups possible through long term working relationships with an array of mobile operators, plans on capturing a substantial share of the market with a clear, honest and ethical approach to the MVNO market.

Pat Nabhan, CEO of QiComm, commented: “I’m delighted to announce the launch of our first MVNO with Dialog. We’ve differentiated our offering significantly to win market share in the UK and give customers both an honest quality service and an upfront and ethical company to choose from.”

Dialog Chief Officer, Suresh Sidhu, said: “Vizz Mobile has created a very compelling service which suits the excellent network we have built in Sri Lanka. We believe they bring a fresh approach to the MVNO space and the fact they are backed by QiComm will guarantee success.”
