New Year, New Daisy Career?

Daisy Group Plc has more than 100 jobs vacancies at its Lancashire head offices and predicts further position openings later in the year.

Daisy Group, one of the fastest growing companies in the UK, is looking for staff to start work in its new 15,000sq ft building which opened in January.

The move follows Daisy’s flotation on the Alternative Investment Market and a succession of four acquisitions which has seen the company’s customer base double in size to over 65,000 in the past 6 months.

The company which already employs more than 300 people at Daisy House – 130 more than this time last year – is looking to fill its second building which is adjacent to the first and boasts a 350 capacity.

Senior roles which need to be filled include management positions within product marketing, sales and Human Resources. Further managerial roles are to be announced at a later date.

Hazel Warhurst, Daisy’s Head of Human Resources, said: “There has never been a better time to join Daisy. Its flotation on AIM quickly followed by the acquisition of four other companies has seen Daisy grow beyond all recognition.

“There is plenty of opportunity for the right people to make their mark in a business which has set itself the target of becoming the natural alternative to BT for small to medium sized enterprises.”

Daisy CEO Matt Riley added: “Daisy is one of only a handful of companies in the UK to have grown significantly during the recession and we are really proud to be creating further jobs here in East Lancashire on top of the 130 we have already created here in the last year.

“We have built our business on the quality of our products and the UK based customer service our team provide. We now want to add more people who have what it takes to succeed in Daisy - tremendous energy and determination, providing the great service that our customers have come to expect from us.

“We want to keep growing and I am looking forward to filling all 350 seats in our new building in Nelson before long. Daisy is a great place to work – don’t just take my word for it, ask the people who already work here!”
