Nimans are up for the Cup

It’s not every day that you get your hands on The FA Cup but that’s just what happened to Ian Brindle and Chris Birchall from Nimans when they visited the new Wembley Stadium. The pair travelled to an Ericsson EMS launch event and say they were ‘blown away’ by the awe-inspiring home of English football - as well as the potential of Ericsson’s Enterprise Multi Media Server platform.

“This was a great opportunity to see not only Wembley in all its glory but also the many significant features that EMS can offer. The quality of the resellers that attended was very impressive and I am sure they all went away with a much greater understanding of the many market opportunities EMS will create for them,” said Head of System Sales Ian.

Nimans’ Ericsson Business Manager, Chris, was equally impressed and commented:

“It was an ideal venue to host a major product launch in a fantastic, modern stadium, built for the increasing demands of the public, which complements the user centric approach of this latest offering from Ericsson.”

EMS provides a single point of contact for voice, e-mail, fax, SMS, call recording and instant messaging, as part of a complete mobility offering, according to Chris who added: “EMS will have a significant impact on the market. The system has been designed for 40-500 users and utilises native SIP technology so that it can seamlessly connect to other manufacturers’ applications. The system highlights the strength of Ericsson within the telecoms market, converging fixed and mobile telephony whilst also demonstrating the tremendous user-friendly and cost effective benefits that SIP generates.”
