Nimans dis-Connects with Network Services

Distributor Nimans has announced the closure of its network services division, shifting focus to other areas of its growing, diverse business.

Nimans Connect was re-launched earlier this year, with propositions from network specialist Griffin Internet and service provider Uniworld, to safeguard revenue streams ahead of the planned termination of the network business relationship with BT.

“It was agreed in the spring that BT and Nimans would sever their business relationship but that revenue streams would remain with Nimans until November this year,” explained Nimans’ Chief Executive and Chairman, Julian Niman. “Now we have reached that timescale it has been decided we are going to concentrate our efforts on other core areas of activity and look for new opportunities to maintain our progression and sustained growth. Nimans Connect in its present format is no longer viable due to changing market conditions.”

He added: “It is important to stress that we are still looking to maintain a relationship with Griffin and Uniworld with a view to strengthening our dynamic and innovative product portfolio in the future.”
