Nimans Renames HQ as a Tribute to Julian

Nimans has renamed its Manchester headquarters, Julian Niman House, as a fitting tribute to its former Chairman who passed away earlier this year.

Julian’s wife Sue Niman was on hand for the official ribbon cutting ceremony watched by the company’s Agecroft workforce and flanked by the board of Directors. Cakes and free drinks followed to mark the official opening.

Julian helped build Nimans into a £125m turnover business and passed away at his Manchester home on January 12th, aged 64. He was known in the industry as a market leading entrepreneur, and regarded all his staff as one big family.

His wife Sue explained how Julian’s spirit continues to live on. “When Julian first started this company from a small office it was beyond his wildest dreams that it would ever have grown into this size. But it’s more than just a building as that’s just bricks and mortar; it’s the people that are in it and their lives that make it so special. Julian cared about everyone.”

Earlier this week the Board of Directors invited all the senior managers to an off-site strategy meeting where the teams outlined their plans to accelerate growth towards breaking the £200m turnover milestone.
