Swyx Business Manager at Nimans Lynnette Smith says that although Swyx is a pure IP platform it can still be connected to traditional ISDN lines for maximum convenience.
“There is a perception that Swyx is just for IP but it is an extremely flexible and user friendly system which is regularly being updated with more features, making it more attractive to end users and easier to sell for dealers,” she said.
Courses for 2009 include sales and technical training sessions alongside dedicated events for new resellers in the Spring.
Smith says the new version 6.20 software is compatible with more mobile handsets so will create additional sales opportunities for dealers. The enhanced SwyxWare solution works with a new range of system phones and gives customers the possibility to use dual mode mobile phones. SwyxWare supports more than 1,000 varieties of telephone devices giving users the freedom to choose what type of phone suits them best, Lynnette emphasised.
She added: “Swyx has always been a very flexible and user friendly system which can now be more tailored to today’s business needs, from a desk phone right the way to being completely mobile. There is complete freedom.”
