Nimans SIPs Success With Gamma

Comms Distributor Nimans has teamed-up with SIP trunking specialist Gamma to help dealers capitalise on growing market opportunities.

The company had to complete an in-depth accreditation process where staff were assessed on sales, technical support and operational expertise - and they passed with flying colours.

“This partnership builds on our strong PBX pedigree and as we already have skilled network services and technical support teams in place we can hit the ground running with this new service,” said Nimans’ Head of Networks Mark Curtis-Wood. “As a financially secure company with a rich trading heritage, we put great emphasis on providing exceptional levels of service. Working with Gamma is another key element of our extensive network services proposition. They share our business values and objectives.”

Curtis-Wood highlighted: “A lot of people appear to be selling SIP trunks just on the basis of ISDN replacement and cheaper calls, but it’s much more than that. Relocation, disaster recovery and resilience all play a part in a fully converged solution.”

He concluded: “We see great potential in the SIP arena. There are around five million ISDN lines out there and from our estimates only about 120,000 SIP trunks. SIP will continue to gain market share and thanks to our partnership with Gamma we can play a frontline role in helping dealers capitalise on the lucrative revenue streams available.”
