Nimans Strike SIP Deal with Gamma

Resellers from across the country have been logging on to learn about the benefits of selling SIP trunking through Nimans and Gamma.

The two parties held an informative webinar to help dealers maximise market opportunities -highlighting how SIP has ‘finally come of age’. Participants heard that SIP trunk usage could rocket from 3% to 25% over the next few years, dramatically changing the UK fixed line landscape.

Nimans’ Head of Networks, Mark Curtis-Wood says SIP contracts naturally lead to other sales opportunities such as PBX maintenance, upgrades and Cloud-based services – as part of a trusted advisor customer relationship. Contracts are typically a minimum of 12 months with numbers automatically ported to the service.

Mark explained: “More and more resellers are starting to embrace SIP to realise the full potential that exists. Gamma and Nimans are ideally placed to help dealers deliver compelling business benefits to their customers, from flexibility with phone numbers to multi-site line rationalisation, increased continuity and resilience and cost savings.”

Gamma have been selling SIP-based solutions since 2006 with 400 million IP minutes per month over their resilient network – working with partners such as Nimans who have developed a single source solutions ethos – providing complete end to end reseller solutions.

Mark concluded: “SIP trunking has now come of age and it’s important that resellers don’t get left behind as it provides an effective and powerful alternative to ISDN. We have been working closely with Gamma to set-up an easy route for our customers to embrace SIP so that they can sell with confidence, backed by two industry-leading names. Certainly the enthusiastic feedback from the webinar indicates how many resellers are keen to join the party.”
