Nimans Welcomes New Konftel Arrival

Nimans is looking forward to the December arrival of an innovative new audio conferencing unit from Konftel which has been specifically developed for SIP trunking connectivity.

The Konftel 300IP builds on the success of the original Konftel 300 desktop model and is a valuable new addition to the range, according to distributor Nimans.

“The Konftel 300 has established itself as a firm favourite within the market, propelling Konftel into a new league in terms of performance and quality. The arrival of the 300IP will further enhance its appeal and open up more sales opportunities for dealers as it has been specifically developed to capitalise on the growing demand of IP and SIP-based technologies,” said Nimans’ Head of Conferencing Sales, Ian Brindle.

The Konftel 300IP is a SIP-based conference phone incorporating Konftel’s renowned OmniSound 2.0 with wideband for superior audio quality. It has several innovative features including the options of connecting a local 5-way call and recording conversations on an SD memory card. A conference guide simplifies the task of calling pre-programmed groups. Ian says settings and contacts are managed either directly in the Konftel 300IP or more conveniently via a web interface where users can also import up to 1,000 contacts into the phonebook. Up to four user profiles can be created to save personal settings.

He concluded: “The Konftel 300IP can be upgraded with new software making it a future-proof investment. Expansion microphones or an external wireless headset and a PA system extend the voice pickup range. The Konftel 300IP also supports Power over Ethernet and represents a very powerful proposition in terms of next generation audio conferencing performance.”
