No Growing Pains for RW Communications

Heathrow based comms firm RW Communications has doubled in size in just under a year. The company has grown from nine staff in January to 20 staff as of October 2007.

The company says its rapid, but controlled growth puts it on track to meet the goals set out by the Directors at the start of the year; to continue offering excellent in-house customer support, move into new markets and extend its service offering with the introduction of an IP Telephony product range.

Andy Knowson, Helpdesk Manager at RW Communications, comments: "When I came for my interview back in August 2006 the Directors had a vision of where they wanted to be in a year’s time, and it was their clarity and enthusiasm that attracted me to take the job. Now here we are just a few months on and the company is right where they said it would be. It is no small achievement for the company to have reached those goals, and our customers are seeing the benefits too. It’s refreshing to work for an IT and telecoms company that delivers on its objectives."

Part of RW Communications' growth comes as a result of two strategic acquisitions made this year, which broadened the company's geographic reach with an office in Liverpool, and also brought in additional hardware and networking support as well as a number of high-profile customers, including Sotheby’s.

David Cooper, Director RW Communications, added: "The addition of IP Telephony to our service portfolio has been a real contributor to our success in 2007. For some time customers had been asking us to take on their telecoms systems as part of our complete solution offering. When we trialled the Communicator solution last year we knew that both existing and new customers would love it because of the additional flexibility it would offer their businesses. This has been a fantastic year for us and we can't wait to see what the next 12 months have in store."
